Thanks Paul PorcoRosso and Boots. Very pleased with the top, it’s the underside which I am worried about. Should have done the snow before fitting the tracks. Silly me. Luckily, with VMS universal carrier it is very easy to clean up and start again.

Thanks Paul and Ian. All down to panzerabteilung oils. For the tracks I am after something like this.

Front Schwein. I like it. Thanks a lot everyone. Very pleased to hear the comments. so with a bit of Tamiya soot on the rubber and snow on the wheels it is looking pretty damn cool, even if I do say so myself. The blue wash makes the old snow look like ice with a fresh layer on top.

Thanks everyone and in particular; uncle night shift who I got the idea of the blue wash from.
Started to use washes on the base to add contrast to the snow and mud there too.

Tommy, this one is really over the top. You really captured the look of a muddy, worn and very cold Panzer on the front.

Thanks Si, Boots and Ian. As it’s red hot outside a winter camo and snow scene is just what you need. From a picture of a panzer 3 in WW2, I added helmets from the stash. They were originally field green so I added dabs of white oil, one dry good old Tamiya black panel liner. I was going to fiddle with them but they look OK, What do you reckon?
