Thank you chaps. Just a small update. I've glued the forward undercarriage bay together along with the intake trunking and rear exhaust cans. I also got the Quinta Studio interior 3D decal set for this model.

Very nice Joe . What's that clamp you're using? Those decals are darned good, check that video out I posted about gluing them in. I would avoid cyano, it makes them curl up

Coming along nicely, Joe! Can't wait to see those decals in the tub. Those will really compliment this kit.

Paul, I watched the video you posted. Thanks for the tip. I will use PVA glue. I'm thinking about using double sided tape for the harnesses. The clamps are called Berna clamps. The first set I got about 30years ago when they first on sale. You got 3 to a pack then I got another set the other day from my LHS. Only two in a pack then. Sign of getting older I guess. They were they were sold in a pack under the Bachmann name.

First of all, my apologies to Ian for getting way behind with this. Sorry Ian, thank you for your patience. I'm going to trim off all that lovely Tamiya moulding on the cockpit detail to replace it with the Quinta Studio 3D decals. So I don't get confused, I've made a list of the parts, along with the stage they appear in the Tamiya instructions for identification. Then, along with the Quinta instructions, I can make sure I only remove the appropriate detail.
