Coming along very nicely now Ian. Really tempted to add one of these Tommy stash after seeing this one.
Adjustable seats were quite a common thing on carrier aircraft to allow vision on the decks especially in WWII. Some pilots would push the seat to max height and leave the canopy open to help them get out quickly in the event of engine failure on takeoff and ending up in the sea.

oh yes, she's starting to get her character now! I never got why people pulled that carrier film of the decals, this shows clearly that it isn't necessary, they look good.

Beautiful indeed . So it looks like some idiot went onto the net and said "this needs doing" and the whole world started moaning about the Eduard decals . Absolute dorks if you ask me, good to see the decals are normal after all

These decals really laid down well and there is zero reason (LOL!) to do anything else to them, especially with tape.
