Your welcome, Guy. When I used Quinta decals , I glued them in place with white PVA glue. It gives you more time to position them correctly. If I remember correctly, Paul did the same when he built his 109. I could use Microscale white glue then, cool! Thanks Joe! Did you cut out the decals? Or the usual way with water and then put them in a white glue thin bed?

The aiming device looked a tad on the simplified side so I've tried to make my own with the help of reference photos. I still have to build the upper part. It's also simple but less simple than the kit part, and defo more fun.

Guy is almost airborne . What ever you do Guy, do not use cyano glue on the decals. PVA, also known as white glue is the best thing to use. The aiming device looks darned cool to me ole chap

I didn't need to cut them out, Guy. They fitted just perfectly. Read the little instruction sheet that come with it. They give you some good tips.

I didn't need to cut them out, Guy. They fitted just perfectly. Read the little instruction sheet that come with it. They give you some good tips. As Joe said Guy, you use them the same way as normal decals. So roughly cut them out and dip them in warm water until they become movable. I added a thin coat of white glue to the plastic and then added the decal. If any corners come loose later, you can use Tamiya Gloss to glue these back down .

Sorry, Guy. I had a senior moment. Like Paul correctly said, cut them out rough first. I thought you meant cut them to shape.

The office was painted gloss black and a dark grey was sprayed on from above. More paint after the decal application.
