Good evening ppl. There was progress today. The propulsion and steering system were assembled as well as most of the konig tower. 3/4 of the time if not more, was used to clean flash. Although the detail is very good, crisp and in scale, most of the small and brittle parts are loaded with flash. Some filling and sanding will be required at the mating surface at the front of the konig tower. Tomorrow there will be more fun trying to cut and clean the railings..... I really hope they will remain in one piece.

Nice! Love the details and clean built. About the rails, Paul B use a technic: Before start to work on these little and thin parts, "paint" each of them with Tamiya or AMMO, or VMS thin cement. Just a little cement to do not destroy the part. Hope it helps.

Just add enough to wet the surface, let it turn almost dry and then gently remove the flash and knockout points

Thanks for the tip guys. It usually works unless you have to do it on harder plastics like on Italeri or Revell kits. Often enough that plastic becomes tougher/ more brittle to work with. ( I don't know how to properly phrase it). Anyway, i managed to clean them all without any incidents and then get them through a diet because they were a tad too thick. Some filling and sanding and that was it. The a/a gun and the harpoons will be glued after painting. So here it is ready for primer.

And we're off, shame about that gap but I'm sure it'll soon be sorted by a man of your calibre

Thanks guys. After primer some failed preshading, the airbrush wasn't in the mood to spray black 😛 and some wood sprayed on the wooden deck. Of course this will be painted grey, this was done in an effort to give a slightly different colour result, but on certain areas it will be more visible. Hopefully soon an update.
