The pe looks like mission accomplished, and those moving parts are actually movable, nice touch. Are the tyres made of rubber or plastic ? You're "en route" chap.

Why thankeee kindly my good fellows Guy..........the tyres are a soft rubber but fit very nicely on the rims, enough tension to allow easyish fitting but tight enough to sit snug to the rim Steve.... i `m going for a Desert Yellow mucker
Havn`t had a chance to do much today as my son popped over with my grandson , hopefully finish off the remaining small bits this evening and onto the Flak..........that`s made up of some parts i tell ya!! .......including etch!! , at least the barrels slide molded and not 2 piece......just wish they`d done that with the jacks
............time for a whiskey me thinks

Thanks Boots, I'm looking forward to the tyres weathering as I had a weathering problem with the rubber tyres of the AFV Club Long Tom 155mm gun.

What prob did you have fella The paint came off by the smallest touching Boots. Maybe it was the paint brand by then, I don't remember 100% but it might have been Revell, the blue cubes (which I still use sometimes).

Aaah gotchya mucker, yeah i used to find the paint cracked due to the flex in the rubber when fitting..........now i leave in situ and just wrap in tin foil, once the main body is done i`ll just blow the hub caps in with a small AB........i don`t worry about a bit of over spray and tyres get mudded up anyway.....by leaving in situ you don`t need really to touch them.....just a method that works for me

With rubber or DS similar tyres/tracks/tarps I always stay away from solvent based products. I have had them sweat the softening component out too often. The tracks on my Comet, M51 Sherman, and Dragon DS figures have gradually melted away. You end up with something very brittle and a horrible oily stain in your Cabinet or worse on the vehicle

I never use solvent based either and any acrylic paint i do use is only ever misted on anyway so it never really forms an actual paint layer as such....as long as i can get them looking dirty with a mix of random thin layers that suits me
