Fantastic detail work, John! That Tempest cockpit looks so realistic....love it!!!! Thanks Ian !!! It's been a joy working on it so far.
Here's today's work :: 5h45m at the bench...
IDF M113A1 :: Gave a 3rd coat of IDF Sand on the lower hull.
Bergepanther :: Working on the wheels, painting rubber tires
Tempest II :: working on some sub-assemblies ,
While I was cutting the resin base from the seat... the resin was too fragile, I damaged the bottom... with some patience and steady hands, I managed to get it back together...
Another sub-assembly that will require a lot of work, the engine...
I'm a little worried about where and how to cut this without damaging anything...
I think I will work on each part separately here... Prime it, clean it, paint it and then assemble it...
Back to the Bergepanther... I still have the rest of the wheels to work on... gave a first coat of Dark Yellow today.
Working on another step, inside of the hull-fender.
Paint on the wheels,
Primer on the Tempest Resin Engine parts.
Dragon Panzer IV Ausf.A :: working on the wheels, and cleaning up the tires...
Tristar Panzer 38(t) Ausf.B :: working on the tires too.
IDF M50, still some work needed before Primer & Paint .
also painting the searchlight
Back to the Tempest seat, gave a 2nd coat of paint. Base coat now. details will follow soon.
LVTH6A :: Dark Green 1st coat, wheels & suspension
IDF M113A1 : 3rd coat of IDF Sand, next step will be painting the tires.
KP Su-7BM :: Painting the wheels & tires
Bronco M1114 :: Painting the base for the rear seats and wheels, front seats and tires will be next.
And that's it for today !! Now F1 and Football...

The Tempest ... well let's see how that goes, my main issue now it will be the engine bits..
All those wheels & tires... then after this it will be the tracks that will test my patience. I have a lot of builds stuck at the tracks. I will have to take my time and focus on a single kit until I sort the whole process of building the single link tracks, paint and mount it on the tank. Not in a busy day like this Saturday.

Here's today's work... here we go...
IDF M113 A1 :: Filter on the wheels and started painting the rubber tires,
Bergepanther :: Finishing painting the tires on those inner wheels, also gave a light wash with some filters, I will add some chipping later too.
Started painting the rubber tires on the double-wheels
Still on the Bergepanther, I worked on the other inner fender, adding the details,
Here, I noticed the K3-23 and K3-16 are too fragile and broke while I was cutting them from the sprue, it took me some time but I managed to get it done.
This will be the next sub-assembly.... Tristar Panzer 38(t) Ausf.B :: Wheels are ready for the tires, but I still had to paint the inner part of the tire,
and then after awhile, got the wheels & tires almost done,
Tempest II :: Started painting the seat,
Painted one of the engine parts, K17.
After awhile, I managed to finish the seat, I still have to touch up with some chipping and a wash,
Fixing the seat to the back plate was very, very hard, so I had to remove one of the bars where the seat was fixed, and add the rear plate in last.
Still... it isn't over I still have a couple of steps to work on...
And finally, Bronco M1114, I touched up the rear seat base with NATO Green, seats will be next. Still a ton of work to be done on this little puppy..
That's it for today ! Stay tuned for more updates during the week...

As for the Tempest office, I noticed that I have to touch up some paint and some light chipping on the seat. I'm surprised since it's turning way better than I expected.
I'm on the fence about doing the resin engine and cutting up the fuselage... I'll have to think about it, the amount of work required for the CMK engine is huge, with a high risk of messing it all with the fuselage.

Coming from the MasterChef of Aircraft Building... wow.. I can't thank you enough for your kind words.
But it's not over yet, I need to touch up some paint, light chipping and wash on the seat, add the instrument panel... I hope after all this I can close up the fuselage with no problems, at least something that won't require another Putty Festival .

Cool update, John. That winch looks fantastic. I see the no-glue icon. Does it function?

Cool update, John. That winch looks fantastic. I see the no-glue icon. Does it function? Yes it does. But it isn't finished yet, thin thread ( I would prefer to use some metal wire but let's see how that goes ... )

Lovely detail on the winch, some nice braided thread from ANYZ would go well on there . Now I know that I am defo losing it, I could have sworn that the M50 was already in colour
