Yes. I actually rather enjoyed making the tracks on the T72.
The fun painting part is next.

Excellent track-work, John; tedious but your work pays a nice dividend!

Thanks fellas !!
Friday update ::
Bronco GAZ 69 M, still painting small detail and parts needed to close up this little one.
Not the final color, this will be a base coat, a little darker before getting the right shade.
Panzer IV, filters on the wheels. Next will be a pin wash and then add the Continental tires
Trying the tracks, so the Dragon links being a little thicker, I was 4 links short. I did the 4 link section, will add them later. The pin CA glue bit will be next... then paint...then weathering.
As you might know, so many builds at the bench from last year, I always manage things to work on, so here it was Trumpeter JS-5. Top hull and turret are done. Lower hull and tracks aren't ready yet.
88 links per side. One side is done.
Very easy to click each link, they don't fall apart like the BMP-1 links, so this one will be quick I hope. Only thing here is that the left side tracks are different from the right sided ones, you have to be careful cleaning them up and get separate bags for each side
Status check on the Su-7 BM from KP, the Warsaw Pact version,
2 PE parts needed, and a few details to be added. Pitot and antennas, and I still need to re-check some putty. Masking the canopy will be next too.
This is my choice for the painting and markings :
That's it for today's work, more next Monday, perhaps getting the KV-1 back to the bench and few others...

I don't know about the Trumpeter kit is, but this gun mount from Takom, it's almost a kit in itself. I still have 2 full pages before adding the gun barrels...

Yup, this Takom kit is amazing so far. I hope with the metal gun barrels and the Resin baskets I will improve this terrific Cold War beast. There are so many options for the finished kit... I might go for a middle eastern country, they have more colorful decals...
