Try to get going tomorrow Jeff, finding it hard to get started mate, thinking of making this my last blog so I don't waste people time anymore What do you mean with that Ian? Everyone has a rough patch they go through, mine has been going on since October/Novemember last year. That is I haven't completed as many kits as I used to. Just post when you have done something and don't post just to apologize

I'll see how this one goes
Actually been sticking today, the instruction are very badly printed, hard to see where bits are supposed to go or what the parts actually look like. No locating lugs on any of the parts either

Oi Oi!!..........we`ll have non of that `white flag` waving here Mr R It`s a hobby!.........you do as little or as much as you want, if you want to put bit`s together behind the scenes and show built/painted/weathered stages only or even a completed build rather then individual small part build ups as in a long blog then it`s entirely up to you mucker, as you well know on this site there is never any pressure on how or when you want to build or chill.........you do it when it suits you mate. I very much pick and chose when i want to show somat or feel the need to build somat and that makes me a very slooooow blogger whereas others are far capable of turning out much more, i set my modelling to what suits me really either mood wise or incentive wise........

Try to get going tomorrow Jeff, finding it hard to get started mate, thinking of making this my last blog so I don't waste people time anymore Everybody's threads have value in here, Robbo, so by all means keep posting. And we all understand if somebody needs a break or isn't able to post as much as they want to, due to real-life occurrences or just experiencing a loss of Mojo. So keep hammering that plastic and post when you can. 😎

Wish I did have, but no, unfortunately I haven't got one of these 1/1 bikes With a bit of luck I can find some mojo in this kit, if not I'm in real trouble as nothing else takes my fancy at the mo, not been to the club for two months either Spent a lot of money doing the bathroom recently and now it's done we've got a leak patch on the dinning room celling and they can't find the leak, I've got dyno rod coming in Tuesday to see if they can find it. Life is throwing me a few low blows at the mo and it is all not helping the mojo. I just sit indoors trying to answer things in my head all day and can't sleep at night. Might sound stupid to you lot but it's where I am at the moment and can't shake it off Start fishing soon, that should help blow some cobwebs away

Thanks for looking in fellas Done some colouring in. A fella at the club said "why do you use primer? I never use it" his models are great so I thought I would give it a go The two black bits on the right are Vallejo modelair and painted great but I run out of this so switched to Tamiya for the ones on the left of the photo, not great it needs a second coat, I think from the photo you can see the different. The little carb in aluminium will look good with a dark wash and the Steel on the lump looks solid, the frame will be in the same paint. Personally I think I'll be sticking with primer

Not too shabby at all Ian . Tis annoying when you run out of paint though. I used to not prime at all, but when I started switching to acrylics, I found they wouldn't adhere to the plastic very well. The slightest touch and the paint rubbed off.

I might give that one shot primer a go Paul
I put a second coat on the black, looks much better

I have used the Mig one shot primer, and I found it to be quite adequate
