I remember a night shift with this problem. He used hot water.
If I remember he called it the worst model he had ever built!!!!

Paul:
Tommy: that makes me feel a little better.
So what to do? I remembered I had a Nashorn with DS tracks in the stash. Dragged it out, Glued them up and did a test fit. They were too short! It's an old kit and I think they shrank a bit. The Hornisse came with a bunch of indy links that are used as fill-ins for the straight runs. By gluing some links and trimming the tracks, I think I've got a workable solution. Should know by this afternoon.
Now all I have to do is the Dragoncare thing and try to get some replacements. Never done it before,so We'll see what happens.

Jeff, you can always go for a battered abandoned one, with no tracks, heavy weather and rust.

Thank,Lads.
A qualified success I think.
I know there is no sag in the tracks but there are plenty of pics on the web showing no sag. So should be good.
It'll look better with some paint.

Thank you,Boys. Yes I have been slacking a bit. It seems I've been invaded by a gaggle of Space Marines.
Both tracks basically done. Dry fitted at this point and will be removed for some paint and weathering.
