Right then, I have finished building this Schweinsgesicht of a kit . The canopy is about 2mm thick and is made of the weirdest plastic I have ever encountered . I scrubbed the bugger in warm water, and dipped it twice into Humbrol acrylic clear, but even so it appears that the clear has just run off . Anyway I have given it a simple mask of Tammy tape and glued it in place with Revell Clear Plastic glue, even that seemed to pearl on the contact points . I hope it sticks, if yes then a coat of interior colour will go on first, then I need to touch up with Deluxe putty and finally I get the primer on . Oh yes before I forget, the kits ordnance has gone into the bin, there was absolutely no way I could have used anything in there . Next time I'll buy a quality kit

Cheers Bootsmeister . I hope the paint job makes this one pop, and even the canopy decides not to accept paint, then i can always cover it up with a tarp
