Carl, sorry sir I forgot to answer that. No I'm not going to bother with AM weapons. The pitot tubes are AM, and I only bought those as they were on offer, I think they were €3. The sad thing is, this kit ain't worth sticking more into it Must be real Dog of a kit , as you have been saying all along Paul . Arf arf

Carl LMFAO fella . Pete, cheers mucker . Right then after doing the Sunday dinner I got into the cave and mixed up a light blueish color from Vallejo light sea blue and sky blue . This has now been applied, but only after straightening the pitot tubes . The ferker slipped from fingers and landed on it's nose, hope that don't happen again . More soon chaps

Blue looks spot on Paul.. no need for ‘real color ‘ here Update from me too. Added a fair few bits for engine and wings etc drooped the slats and flaps a bit to bring that big wing to life, it meant a bit of filler but Perfect Placstic stuff worked well. also built up the ordinance but forgot a pic

Steve, your words please me very much fine Sir . Well, how do I say this..... oh what the heck, camo on . I used a mix Vallejo paints for the camo: Medium Olive 71.092 and RLM 82 71.022 in a 50/50 mix for the green White 71.001, RAL White 71.270 and UK Light Stone 71.143 in equal amounts for the Sand Mud Brown 71.037 straight for the brown And this is what it looks like ...... I'll get some faded green and brown on next, when this is dry . After that I'll touch the blue lower colour, and then gloss .

That looks dam coooool mucker How do you find the Model Air paints...........do you use straight out of the bottle or dus ya thin `em

Merci Mushty Boots . I reckon the Model Air paints are darned cool, it took me a while to get used them, but I wouldn't go without anymore . They do need thinning, well for my cheapo AB with 0.3 nozzle anyway. And that is the tricky part. If I use 15 drops of paint I'll add 5 drops of thinner and 3 of flow improver. That seems to work quite well, if you however use the normal Vallejo paints, then this needs to 2x to 3x the amount of thinner/flow improver

Ta mate.....i`ve never tried them yet, what do you thin with?

I use their thinner and flow improver. Because the paints are so rich in pigments, you really don't need much of either. Here's a piccy for yaz , the two larger bottles I bought last year, in November I think. The two small ones I bought back in 2017, that was enough for roughly a year .

Nice work chaps, Paul looking good I occasionally spray vallejo air and as you said have found a nice thin mix works best. The colour does really build up fast too.
