Hi mates! My 7th "build" this year: "Tons" (or toons) of parts: And after an hour of laborious work, with a pause to drink a espresso and a slice of cake, I had this: Funny build for sure Cute subject... But, which color to use to paint a Firefly? Was there camoed Fireflies? Hope you like! ACC&?W

That is sweet indeed . As for the colouring check this link out : www.mafva.net/other%20pages/Starmer%20camo.htmI know AK interactive have a colour set, I have this myself but i haven't tried them yet. The SCC 15 Olive drab is there, and I think you can get this colour on it's own. These are lacquer paints.

Thanks a lot Guybro! Paul sended a link that's almost perfect for anyone who want paint a WWII British vehicle.
As far as I can see, Olive Drab is a good match to the color, but I'll try find the correct one!

Calm down mates! I'm not a rivet counter, and I just have had started the paint work, using the paint I said... And as I didn't have had received the compressor 'till saturday night, I started the little Somua too: And, as yesterday I've had the new compressor (that works perfectly and quietly), I started to paint both little fellas: In the Firefly I need to mask the lower part of the barrel and complete the work. The Somua will be camouflaged with rust brown and sky green... Something like that: So far, so good (and funny). Hope you like... ACC&?W

Nicely done Sir . Here's a tip for your next Firefly. Paint the barrel white first, then mask off the part that stays white and paint then the green, it's easier that way . I hope you still have a toon kit left over for the GB next year ?
