Cheers Robbo................just in the process of shortening the chassis as we speak, need to remove 17 mm out of the center rails and rejoin, then i can shorten the drive shafts

Ok fellas....... The basics for the re-worked chassis are there..............the 2 small pieces are what i took out the middle to make it shorter, i still have a bit more bracing to add but she is all square and level
Also some of the basic interior stuff fitted in the cab
The next pic shows the driveshafts etc.........you can see how much will be removed to allow it to fit in it`s various locating points on the chassis rails......i`ll need to remove about 17mm
I would like to make the steering moveable on this so i will be losing the front part of the driveshaft and replacing it with a pivot able axle, however i only have a 1/25th scale one, i may have to butcher it to size if i can`t locate a 1/35th scale one...
Next up i will hopefully have all the bracing stuff finished on the chassis and the shafts adjusted to fit
Thanks chaps

Thanks very much indeed my fine friends Robbo..........no fella, they are just some little trays i made up to keep small parts in during building so`s i don`t loose them Guybro....thanks my good buddy, i would like to have made the steering pose-able but unfortunately it won`t work.....so straight ahead facing it is ...........the 5th wheel coupling is gonna be a blast

Ok chaps........some more, Front axle and driveshafts fitted, `Donk` fitted, front bumper, radiator and a mock up of the cab.......also the cab running boards plus the remaining brace for the chassis...........i swapped the winch bumper for the plain one as the 6x4 tractor never carried a front winch so i didn`t need the other one.......this meant chopping back the winch frame mounts so the front bumper sits nearer to the front of the chassis

The fuel tank will have to be re-sized and a tool box scratched for the other side, i will also make up the mount for the 5th wheel coupling and i need to add some angled runners which are used to assist connecting when backing under a trailer...............stay tuned
Cheers y`all
