Gents, thank you all very much.
Steve, surprisingly it hasen't been too bad on the eyes. The crisp molding really helps.

Some good progress this morning. Interior buttoned up and the Cab in place.
Roof panel installed.
And last but not least. Windows laid out, marked and tinted.
Glazing should go in today, still need to mask them off.
So now I have a decision to make.
Seeing Marco's picture made me think about paint for this. What do you guys think of going IDF ?

Yes, but today is still today and not tomorrow. Anyway, off we go. The grab rails were almost impossible to remove from the sprues without breaking, just too fragile. Ended up making some out of copper wire.
Track assemblies together. Blade booms also.
Windows in and masked. Here I had a little problem. I used micro mask and although it flowed well to the edges with a good line as it dried, it kept lifting. Just wouldn't stick to the plastic. I tried everything. Not really happy with the masking. Might mess with it a little, we'll see. Tracks are dry fitted at the moment.
That's it for now.

I see what you mean with masking Jeff, haven't you tried that liquid stuff you bought not so long ago? Apart from that she looks darned good, those tracks look really good indeed, and the bendaged wire is very well done

Yes, I did. I had high hopes. It went on great, with a nice clean edge but as it dried it kept pulling away from the plastic. Between the grab rails and the windows it was a very frustrating morning.

Oops, just re-read your post and noticed what you said. Have you tried pulling a sharp scalpel blade around the edges first? It might give the micro mask something to bite onto

No worries, Bub. That might work. Gonna mess with it some more and see if I can improve things.
