This ain`t no weekender thats for sure I find doing these big builds leads to a lot of repeated assemblies so jumping about on the build can be a bit more therapeutic

Steve. It is, but so, far worth it. Paul. They are piddly little things, aren't they. Mence, So far so good. We'll know more when I get the chassis done and see if all the tyres/tires touch the ground. Boots. It sure ain't. Jumping around helps me too as sometimes I find the instruction sequences just don't fit my style. And back to Paul and Boots. Looks like I'm not the only one, then.

The 16 have become 8.
The first 40 have become 20.

The second 40 have become 20.
And a little paint work.

So much for that.

It’s all adding up nicely, or should that be dividing? Either way, it’s good progress buddy

O.K. Got a small complaint with this kit. I mentioned in the review that there are a lot of attachment points from the sprus to the parts. That in itself is not really a problem 'cause my new Tammy slim jawed cutters are doing a marvy job. The issue is how some of the parts are connected to the sprues. A lot of the parts are joined on two surfaces.
Like this.
So when you cut them off, you get this.
Leaving you to have to trim them again.
Not a big deal really but I'm glad all the parts aren't like that. That would a real pain in the butt.
TTFN.

That's a good point Jeff, but at least with this attachment method the risk of damaging the part is reduced . That's what I have found anyway

Hmm, I found similar with some parts on a Takom build.
Seems odd as some manufacturers manage to do fine.
