Can highly recommend the BrokenToad brushes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk What do they cost Ade, are they cheaper than series 7 They are a similar price tbh Ian. I have both and prefer using the BrokenToads. You can get a set (size 2,1,0&000) plus brush soap and conditioner for about £35, IIRC. Have a look here: www.brokentoadstore.co.uk/index.phpSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As I was in Koblenz on Monday visiting the Military Technology museum, I had a wander around the town too . You'll never guess what I found there, a shop called Kratz Modellbau . So superstitious as I am , I had to buy something . Heed this ancient saying and all will be well "never go into an unknown model shop without buying something, it brings bad luck if you do " . Guy knows what I need this for .

As some of you will have seen, I’ve sort of returned to an old hobby/pastime recently, sparked by Ewan’s interest in playing them now... tabletop Miniatures Games. I started off with RPGs 40 years ago, then moved into games like Bloodbowl and Warhammer in the 80s... At the time I wasn’t really into painting the minis, just using them, but by the end of the 80s I found myself without the time to play due to work and the considerable travelling that this brought. Anyways long story, short... I’ve introduced Ewan to Bloodbowl and Warhammer 40,000.... using some of the old minis I had plus a few up to date renditions.... so here are the various purchases that have been accumulated over this year.... First up, new issue Bloodbowl teams and players... Then there’s the 30 year old white metal teams that I had in the loft.... these sell for well over £60 per team now! I have two additional human teams, two ork teams and a resin Amazons team to add that are not pictured! We are also building two Warhammer 40,000 armies, a Blood Angels Space Marines chapter and a Chaos Death Guard faction..... In addition I have many minis from 30 years ago, that I am slowly digging out of the loft, cleaning up and painting.... I must be mad.... this lot on top of the hundreds of scale models I have..... I’ve been compiling a build list to try and work out when half this stuff will be ready for action! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
