In my family, Christmas Eve is when the immediate family opens gifts from each other. Christmas morning is when you open gifts from "Santa". My siblings...3 sisters, a step-sister...all married with children...and parents are scattered so for the past decade and a half, we've been gathering the weekend before Christmas. That way we can celebrate together, but also spend the actual holiday at our respective homes with our own families. It's mainly for the kids. I actually got these Saturday, but wanted to wait. What I do is make a list of kits and my siblings pick from it. That way there is still a surprise factor...but some things tend to get left off and I usually grab them after the New Year.

The Luftwaffe Figures were going to be used with a 1/32 FW 190 I wanted but it was out of stock by the time the order was placed. I'll grab that at some point. The 1/24 scale figures are going to be modified for something...which I should be starting up in the next few days. The KingTiger will be built for the Tiger GB. The Jeep will be built as a normal vehicle used in the Tank Restoration Diorama. The Waffentrager is one I've wanted for a bit...I had it on last year's Christmas list.
Hopefully everyone has made out like bandits.

Some great gifts fellas Bit of a mixed bag for me..... My good lady suprised me with this........she found a site called Trench art which deal in genuine WW1 relics dug up in France, this is a German shell dated 1917 and has been cleaned and engraved with the words `PEACE` on it.......it`s purely a decorative piece hence the etching but the shell is real

The next are from me to me.... ..........this has arrived and the Bentley en route
I also got some chrimbo money orfe the good lady to get meself a kit.......
This is the one i`m waiting to be released hopefully next month..
Also got a nice big bottle of.......
Which somehow has mysteriously opened itself

Awesome stuff, Boys. I see a couple of things there that should have been on my list. Paul. He was excited to get them. He knew the King was German 'cause "it's got those funny numbers on the side of it" So now the dust has settled and here's what I got.
Turns out the M1070 kit was a Christmas gift, too. My Wife told me this morning She'd cover the cost of that.
