Thank you lads. Some progress with the base. I originally tried AK swamp gel for wet patches but I wasn't happy with the look, so more moss and leaf litter... Seems to do the job. Next up is a start on the figure... that'll be my holiday project.

That looks really awesome! The moss growth and vegetation looks really good. Regarding the tires----if the vehicle had been sitting there that long would the tires still hold air and retain that shape?

I saw where ICM is getting ready to release various Chernobyl sets in 1/35th that come with a vehicle and figures.

Great diorama. Shows the grim reality of such a disaster. I think the figure will set it off very nicely.
