You’ll need a fair bit of filler for the F-35 but it looks great when done

You’ll need a fair bit of filler for the F-35 but it looks great when done Steve,I've had a quick look in the box,and checked the fuselage halves for fit,and it don't look that bad if you build it in the hover as they would have you do it. One thing I have noticed is that there are absolutely no colour callouts for anything, interior or exterior!

Chris, I spend a fair bit of time around this beast in one way or another, just let me know what you need and I’ll try to help out, as much as I’m able

Well, gents, I took the plunge and treated myself to this. As I read "Rising Sun, Falling Skies" I got interested in RN cruisers and saw this one. I thought these County Class three-stack cruisers were really beautiful ships so I ordered this and it is really a nice kit and comes with photo etch as well. HMS Kent had an interesting history and survived the war as well. It seems like most naval kits these days are of vessels that got sunk. Best wishes, Ian

Some nice pickups and it's not even Christmas yet. Paul, that E50 build sounds neat. You should be good to go on the chassis. The E50 kit's chassis is a smudge larger than the Meng KT. Likewise, you won't have to worry about the KT's torsion bar suspension...so a bit more room to play with. The front has a different angle. As far as the turret, that's gonna be the trick. I'll also point out the E50 was not designed to use the Schmalturm. Not really sure why Trumpeter used it for their E50. Good luck with that and I'm sure you'll do something slick with it.

Would you believe it. I ordered my bottle of TET from fleabay because I was too lazy to go to Rochester to the model shop, paid about £1.50 over the odds to have it delivered. Now I was out when the postie called so they've took it to the main post office for this area and guess where that is, yup, Rochester right by the model shop. Lesson learned
