There you go, Pete. And you got it right, Dude. Car builds are just backwards from Armor. Paint then build. If I my be so bold as to suggest you try some Tammy X-2 thinned with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner at about 1-1 1/2 to 1. You may not need the lacquer clear.

well this afternoon I sprayed the model parts that needed to be white using some zero paints pure brilliant white. Boy this stuff stinks! However my benchvent dealtwith the whiff no problem and with a mask on I really didn't smell any of it. I sprayed about 5 coats to get a good deep white leaving each coat for 10 minutes before continuing. I'm very pleased with the finish which is quite matt. Oh I did place the body in a box between coats to stop any dust settling on it. I'll leave this now for a while to cure then I'll gloss before decals.
