Great red arrow save Carl! (and the Arrow Head did not save the Chiefs!) I didnt realize anyone out of the Spokane area knew anything of the Chiefs , Marco. That was a close game alright . The Americans were a tough team .

The Americans were a tough team . I like the Chiefs, I remember when Joe Montana played at Arrow Head and they had a Brazilian kicker too (two years ago, I think). But I love to see Mahomes playing. The boy has a tougth arm and do some very good runs too. I think the people of Kansas will see this young QB win a SB... This is just a thought... About the Patriots, nothing much to say. Brady is, in fact, one of the best football players ever.

Carl I had just had a look inside this old Dragon kit . I still cannot find the connection for the gun mantlet to the cover . So I reckon you'll just have to butt fit the bugger and live the set elevation angle . It's too much of a biggy, unless you want to play with later in the sand pit

Paul they just kinda skip over the gun mount .I dont know how in the #ell dragon figured the barrel was supposed to fit into the mantlet but I used some white plastic and came up with a method . The barrel and assembly drops to the deck when lowered past 90% and I needed more fabrication to correct that . All in all I spent way to much time getting it all worked out .I'm going back to Tamiya after this build . I think I have a Tiger I in the stash somewhere . Guy you got that right . I built their M1A2 Sep a few years ago and that had some weird fit problems also and its a newer kit release , guess Dragoon just continues with their old mistakes .

I built that one back in the day. It's a character builder...to put it mildly. I used styrene strips to build up the mount area for the gun. I remember mine was always crooked. I ended up using it for a what-if Panzer IV and would eventually toss it in the bin.
That kit is one of the old Gunze Sangyo kits DML reboxed so you could check some of the Gunze Panzer Iv builds. There's no telling what the original used. Wait until you get to the thoma mesh shields. I'd suggest replacing the nylon mesh with metal mesh like from a screen repair kit. The kit's nylon mesh is pretty bad.
That said, I wish you luck with it and I'm sure you'll have a much better go at it than I did.

Paul I bet your not up now Alex I looked at that nylon mesh and stainless steel pe thats in the kit and I dont want to mess with it either . I see there is a pe replacement from ABOR for the mesh "thoma screens " so I might go with them . More red arrows The pe in this kit is stainless steel and hard as hick to bend . I replaced the pe gutter flange over the turret side hatch with some white plastic strip . The arrows at the gun mantlet are to show where plastic strip was needed to cover a hole in the top and the other is to show where plastic strip was used to keep the gun from nose diving .
