Boots, Jeff, Pete, cheers fellas . Nuttin like a bit of Rock n Roll . I just put the first coat down . As said I used the Vallejo mix, this is basically slapped on like a typical squadie would do . Which is the explanation for the sloppy under crackers and blotchy top areas . Tomorrow will get high.- and down-lights and possibly some camouflage colour ACACW fellas, back tomoz

Nice work. DY shade looks cool. And the chipped wooden deck is a nice star mate!

Muchas grazias fellas , you're all too kind to me . Got back from work early today , so I started the painting again . First off was a darkened Dunkelgelb for the shadows, then a light version for the tops . I'm afraid my camera won't capture it properly though . The green camo is Vallejo 71.022 Light Green RLM 82 with a tad Vallejo 71.081 Ochre. The cab tilt is Vallejo Ochre neat, the seats got a starter coat of Vallejo 71.271 Rotbraun RAL8012. Next was highlights on the trailer with good ole Tammy German Grey lightened with Tammy Dark Sea Grey. Pics . ACACW fellas, more soon

Pete, Marco, Boots, Ian, cheers fellas . I reckoned the the mix of camo and plain grey would work , and it certainly wasn't anything out of the ordinary. There are plenty of pics out there with the Famo in this mix . Anyway being as most of this vehicle is covered in wooden panels, I thought it wood be time to get woody colours in there . Here's a start to the woodness then Bit of a shame doing this really, it'll all get covered later in dirt and oil stains .

Jeff, Duke. Marco, Boots and Carl, many thanks indeed fellas . I have given the whole vehicle a shiny coat now, this should help protect the paint from now on. Next will be oils and washes and chips and...... . But before that I got the tracks on the Sd.Kfz.10/5 , I have ended up using the kit ones. These are way too thin, but I can't be arsed to chase around anymore looking for AM items . With any luck the 10/5 should get primed this week, and there will be more on the Faun too .
