Ok chaps......bit the bullet and finished the diffs/shafts/hubs/tyres etc........there`s a couple more bits to add once these are attached to the chassis.......i gotta say it was a pleasure to assemble both theses sets of axles, the clean up was minimal and the fit is excellent, Trumpy have topped it with the poseable front steering system..........the ends of the axle stub have a ball with 3 notches cut out.....these correspond with the 2 recesses on the inside of wheel hub and simply click into place..no glue required , the only advice i would give is remove one of the tiny locking pins that sits inside the middle recess on the ball end of the axle .....you won`t feckin` get them to click into place otherwise....ask me how i know .......once one is removed it fits perfect and won`t come off and is also fully articulate, the diffs are exactly the same where they connect to the suspension arms........all feckin` push fit and i love it , once assembled i sat some weight on it and glued the joins with TETC......left it for an hour or so under weight and this ensured all wheels were gonna be touching down
....and the chassis just plonked into place for the mo
She`s a big `ol gal i gotta say........and getting bigger by the day , i`m creating a ferkin` monster truck!!!!!!
I gotta do the `ol instruction hopping now with a pad and pen......i need to make sure i find all them later in the build parts that need to go on now for primer rather than b*****cks......i missed somat
More soon chaps
Pete.......still tempted

More added to the chassis...... The drive trains and linkage/shocks etc all now added and fixed in place...........and more importantly.....all square and level
You`ll notice in a couple of places i`ve added some black tubing to adjust the linkage..............the linkage is correct if you want to model it with wheels straight if you want to model it with wheels turned you have to extend one of the link arms..........also during assembly some of the other linkage doesn`t quite meet it`s connection points, this is because some of the terminal points can only be done on guess work during assembly.
Still got a couple of small parts to attach and then i can prime the chass
Cheers y`all
