Since my Mojo is getting back, I went to the garage where part of my Plastic is piled, I want to resume most of the unfinished builds, anyway, most of my Aircraft stash are Russian jets. So I picked one that I started early this year and another one that was in the garage behind a toolbox... The SMER 1:48, I started early this year. Lost the progress photos that were on another Forum, anyway if I remember it , the fuselage was cleaned up, engine was painted and glued. I had an Eduard Brassin seat that was very detailed, a great resin piece, but the detailed PE was very delicate. Two weeks ago I got from my LHS a very thin saw that will able me to work on that resin without damaging it. I started working on the cockpit bay too. The Kopro 1:72 kit is an old one that was sitting in the garage. And yes, you can expect the other Su-7 from my stash to land on this thread..

Back at the bench. Felt good, well it felt great. Was a little scared, I always am after a long period away... Anyway, Kopro Su-7. Crude not much detail. I got glue, blades, plastic and a pair of hands... what can go wrong ?

Decals checked. Nothing for the interior. As you can see... the cockpit is very very poor. I'll check with the late Modelsvit kits just to compare. Well it can't be more naked than this Kopro tub...

You sure that's the cockpit??? Could be a sparce wheel bay or maybe part of a display stand??
It's only got the IP and seat to go in yeah? Reckon you could liven it up a bit with some discs and off-cuts, although having said that the canopy is quite enclosed and there's not gonna be a huge amount visible is there?

I'm sure that's the cockpit.. Checked and Double Checked Not much to see inside the canopy. Compared to this, the 1:48 Tub from the SMER kit is amazing... I have a photo of the real thing... mmhhh I won't try to replicate it in 1:72.

Nice cleanage and good looking detail John The surfaces have some detail, but .. I someone wants to build a Su-7 go for a Modelsvit kit. Not this old Kopro.
