nice hob Alex. A bit more filler applied. Prep for a new base on the top of the hull before the really fun bit.

I originally had a couple of ideas for this, both very different in final form and function but wit much the same starting point. I finally got around to sketching out options and have settled on a definitive end point. Not telling you what just yet...

Nope, it's a time machine. Don't you see the place for the Flux Capacitor on the left side of the Hull? He has it marked with an atomic symbol.

There was a guy on Armorama...I don't remember the name... but he used to like to convert Strykers from wheeled to tracked. Then, that concept became reality. Getting back on track, he also did some shortened 4 wheeled Strykers. I really thought you might be converting it to a wheeled vehicle.

Paul-yup a recce track. Jeff-sshhhh... thats what makes it such a good recce vehicle. Alex it is or was a full forum on Network 54,its ehere I got the initial germ of the idea for the short wheel base. Last night I managed to get a start on the sensor mast. Everything is just tacked on place for now. The mast will be rotatable and removable but not workable as such. Now, need to start thinking of a name for this thing. Currently toying with "Meerkat"-whadaya fellas think?

The Meerkat is quite fitting indeed . Just think of one up on it's hind legs, and you have the same as the sensor on the mast here

Just think of one up on it's hind legs, and you have the same as the sensor on the mast here That's what I was thinking myself whilst trying to maintain some (tenuous) feline title... I have tried to size the individual segments so that they would sit inside the existing hull depth, but I think the top-most might need a bit of a re-work. As will the hull top armoured box , particularly for the sensor head. More work to be done.
