cheers gents. Not happy with the sensor head so I've gone back and replaced the current "lenses" with rims sliced from tube stock-looking much better. Need also to rework the "box"it all goes into, so that it looks like it MIGHT actually fit... pics to come later.

Thanks chaps. I think I'll be playing with whitestuff for a while to get a decent receptivcle for it all, so don't expect too much in the way of definitive progress for a wee while.
BTW -I'm also having that issue with bookmarks not showing new content.

The book mark issue is something we think ProBoards has done fella...........it seems everything goes thru the `Profil` notifications i.e `Posted`, `Quoted` and `liked`!! , don`t` know why as none of the Admin staff have been made aware of it!! ...............the `Participated` button will keep you in check with everything you have visited and that is what i always use. I was also getting `posted` notifications in my E-mails which i`ve never had before......i deleted all my bookmarks and that stopped it. If it becomes an issue we can contact PB and find out why the `Bookmarks` notifications has stopped......

In reshaping this Ive made ita lot more difficult with roof hatches. I spent much of last night trying sketch out ideas, but the shape is a tad awkward . the front is straight forward enough-probably a pair of bifolds either side of mast centre-line. The back end is a different game... My intention is to have the front end "open" with mast deployed, the back(angled)portion will be closed but needs to look like it can open-in a sensible way.I don't think just having a "hinge line" is going yo be enough though. This is my current idea; I would welcome any and all input from you all. share images

That works Paul , and believe it or not I was going to suggest something very similar . You may still need 3 pistons to activate the covers though, but those should be easy add-ons . Just think of aircraft landing gear covers
