Next colour; Vallejo Tan. Once dry , back to the joys of tape time. I've deliberately been a bit lighter with the paint on the side skirts to provide a bit of tonal variety. Here's hopin'

Thank you very much chaps! Really pleased with how it's come out- even with the tidying up required.

Paul did you spray over each layer of tape with covered colour first? That should stop any bleeding. I mentioned that in my Revolution thread

I've now completed the tidy-up and all is well. Next question; can anyone recommend a good colour for a filter on this to knock back the contrast? Or have I made things difficult with all that black?

That camouflage pattern looks nice chap. Well done. Regarding a filter I'd say go for a brown or a tan one.

Fantastic work, indeed. I agree; a tan or brown filter would be perfect.
Best wishes,
Ian

I'd hoped to be able to provide some piccy evidence of progress on this but I'm temporarily unable to access the photo files due to a change in ISP. I have now; Applied the first tan filter- knocked back some of the contrast, but does need a coat or two more; Gone with the kit tracks- painted up with Lifecolor and cut roughly to shape before being secured to the running gear with CA - not too worried about how it looks as it will be hidden behind the new side skirts; Done some more work on the sensor head- the inner surfaces of the "eyes" were hit wth Vallejo Chrome and then Tamiya clear ( Blue, Green and Red) were added to create lenses.
