after just over a week to lewt the oils cure I've now gloss varnished the base so should be getting the groundwork down this week. I'm thinking of a muddy/dusty road with discarded crates & fuel cans in the background.

It's perfect for churned up earth and once textured with a stiff brush looks excellent.

Here's the model & dio all finished. I started off with flat earth sprayed on the lower portions of the model then attacked it with VMS pigments & universal weathering carrier. The figures got a bit of mud added to the uniforms and then all was fixed onto the base. A great kit which paints up really well. More in the gallery.
