Ok.........first attempt at a splinter on a wingy 
I`m quite pleased but i need to do a little bit of refinement here and there but nothing major......
  
I think once tidied up, gloss coat and decs and the panel washes it might look ok  |

No mate.......my AB needle is too big/wide for the small panel lines, a wash will be better and the Flory washes work well..........apparently |

Only joking Boots, the flory washes do work well but they scare the hell outta me when I use 'em  Just be sure to get a good shiny covering on and all will be well  |

Yeah i must invest in a smaller needled AB at some point........my one isn`t really suitable for small stuff and tight camo jobs, i`ve watched a vid on using the Flory washes on the Flory site.........seems straight forward enough , scary as they may seem they do look good as shown in ya Spitfire I`ll be laying down a gloss/satin coat as mentioned |

When you start removing the wash, wipe it orfe diagonally to the panels lines . That way you wont need to wash over again. I also used a very soft cloth, it was actually a glasses cleaning cloth . |
