Bit of a disaster, leaving a rigging line under tension overnight managed to distort the main and fore masts. They are just too flimsy to take the rigging tension.  I'll try replacing the masts with metal rod or stouter styrene rod. It'll lose the mast taper but a small price to pay if it means finishing |

Still going. The masts were replaced with florists' wire, they now go through the deck into the keel making for a very solid and rigid fitting. This is one I'll refer to for future builds The standing rigging is complete and a start made on the running rigging. Light perhaps at the end of the tunnel.  |
