This is the old 32nd scale P 47D Razorback kit from the 60s. It is a rivet jungle! Although it is a really old kit fit seems good. We'll see.

Lookin' very good John - strange about the glue issues eh? I like the colour inside the engine cowling - what is it? Thanks Neems. The colour is Vallejo's interior yellow. A lot of US built planes had that instead for green. As for the glue, no because it wasn't exactly a glue problem. The idiot.. (that's me!) didn't wash the kit and it seems it was still full of oil, even after so many decades. That's what kept it from getting glued properly. Well stupidity costs...

Wings are on and so is primer. Made a few changes at the headrest area, the kit's parts were far from reality. Will go for a metal finish so i'll try making different shades by painting underneath the main colour. First time i'll try that, we'll see how it goes.
