Thanks for your patience fellas, my bench time has been nonexistent! However, here’s a quick update to show that this is still my favourite pastime

Here we go, pics! We have a pile of indy tracks and stack of wheels... soo much work for so little Stick on Zim, another 2 hours of trimming with daylight tidying still to do. Surprisingly for a Tamiya kit I needed some filler on the hull, you also have to change the construction sequence to fit the Zim as they want you to add details as you go, the Zim needs to be under those. If I ever mention another indy tracked tank please point me to this post  More soon peeps B)

looking very nice mate, those zimm stickers look good so the effort is well worth it. What indy tracks did you go for?

Cheers Boots Pete, the tracks were in the kit. The Mid-production Tiger has indy tracks where the rest had bands. Personally I’d prefer either DS or link and length. The Zim is nice it’s just a PITA cutting it out as it’s not precut by Tamy. Thanks for stopping by fella

I had the same thoughts on my Elefant when using the Tamiya zim but it was a lot less hassle than I thought it would be. Sharp blade and a steady hand.

Jabs, Cheers fella So not much to update from me, I thought that my lack of energy was due to work but it turns out I’m a bit ill, a chronic deep infection somewhere in my belly. Nice Good news news is they can fix that with antiB’s so here’s to getting better and getting on with somit I wanna do!
