No mate..........they ain`t the greatest of figs plus i don`t have the resources just yet mate, to buy the paints and some decent brushes will cost me a few quid and i havn`t got the spare cash fella.........otherwise i might have been tempted to purchase a decent fig to go in it

That's understandable , specially for us beginners. I did notice though, that in those figure painting vids, his brushes were certainly not the newest ones .

Nice choice mate, should be an easy build. As for brushes I don't use anything special as I don't class myself as a figure painter.

Welcome Mark Ok.......we`re orfe and running at last (been a busy coupla days) ..... Started with the under-crackers... Yes i know it resembles the starting grid of a mini Moto GP race but the parts are sorted into their relevant sequence
I then added some texture to the rubber road wheels using my special texture adding technique
Here`s a before and after pic...
All i do is layout a small sheet of sand paper, then i run some glue around the outer edge and roll it back `n` forth over the sand paper while the glue is wet..........it dries in seconds and leaves a nice pattern on the rubber rather than being silky smooth which i doubt it would be in real life..........i also cut out some nicks for wear and tear

Also made up the drives and idlers plus the rear end plate and gubbins..........the back plate for the sussies has been glued in place so as to get all the wheels etc level.........i`ll paint and add the front parts along with the wheels separately to make life easier and fit them later

More soon as...cheers chapsies
