Ok chaps........only been able to do a litttle bit coz stupid o clock calls again!! (not for too much longer)
A quick dry fit of bits so far...........also i have done the cast effect on the front plate.................i will do the same on the turret when i get to that point
Hope it looks ok as it`s the first time i`ve done this and i was cackin` meself in case i ferked it up 
Sherman shaped...
Front glacis plate cast texture effect...if ya double click the pic you can see it a bit betterer
Hopefully a bit ore over the weekend

very nice bit of texture mate should look great under paint. I was aware of those sledges, I think they were just for the initial beach landings, very interesting though |

got no rear lights!!!!!!!!!  They`re not on the sprue or in the box.......and i ain`t taken `em orfe!!
I`ve looked around for AM ones (which they do do) but the resin ones are not available with any vendor according to the Scale Mates data site or there are some 3D ones (which are ferkin` dear!!)
Anybody help

Looks great! I was wondering if this Sherman kit suffered from the no-upper sponson problem and I guess it does but you fixed it beautifully. Also, great work on the hedgerow cutter.

Robbo and Prof..........thanks fellas Robbo.......i used TETC and a stiff brush , just coat small areas with copious amounts of TETC (make sure the windows open) and then just stipple it.......i then lightly sanded it back a tad and then repeated the process, dries in seconds..........just smells a bit |
