Ok chapsies.......just a small offering of an update
You can see in the pic the sand shields attached and removed (which most Shermans did)..........i used some white strip and drilled copious amounts of small holes to replicate where the panels would have been..

Also added the front lights and guards plus gun travel lock and lifting lugs.........need to add some small uprights at the rear where the engine bay doors would rest on when opened.......apart from that there ain`t a lot more to do on the tub

More soon as....

Just some bit`s n bobs added the past coupla days but my good lady is suffering chronic ear ache and sore throat......got some antibiotics so i`m hoping they`re gonna kick in in the next coupla days..........so gluing is a bit of a no-no at the moment Ayhooo i`ve managed to covertly stick a few bits on.........namely stuff thats not included in the kit but are on ref pics......so it`s basically the white bits (including the little latch on the travel lock)......plus i cut orfe the moulded square blobs that represented the engine cover and rear panel handles and replaced them with some donated grab handles.....they`ll scrub up under paint, one is slightly bigger than the others but i like it like that

I know it`s only small things but totally necessary........the Sherman world is a whole new ball game simply due to so many different feckin` things/makes etc.......i got loads of ref pics and they all differ in a slight way even as the same tank .........as for tracks.........don`t even go there!!! , thankfully i`ve found pics of mine with the kit included ones
Hopefully normally service will be resumed ......
Cheers folks

Hope Mrs. N gets better soon Mark. As for the bits and bobs, well you're certainly right there. These tanks would change through their life as much as we do. Bits would be added and removed, as for tracks, well anything would go there . Nice workings fella

Thanks Paul.......she`s still not good today but meds proabaly havn`t kicked in fully yet Yeah these are certainly a mine-field when it comes to a reasonable accuracy.............leaves a nice big oppertunity for artistic licence tho , got a few plans for this i have to say..........can`t make up me mind tho as to which route to take.......i.e. White or Green, they`re both neck and neck for some reason or another
