Italian Puma 4x4 AFV 01/07 all done!

That has really popped all the lovely detail

Today the main colour has gone on and here I've used humbrol acrylic 102 and their own thinners. The colour is a good match for the Italian green seen on these and sprayed extremely well. it's been a very long time since I last used humbrol paints and back then they where enamels! The paint also seems to be compatible with tamiya colours so I may test and then add a slightly lighter tone over this with some white in the mix.

Camo went on today but first I lightened the base colour with a dash of white. For the brown I used tamiya NATO brown with a dash of white added & the black was straight NATO black. Very pleased with how the colours came out, they are a good match for the real thing. So gloss coat tomorrow I think.

thanks guys, well a couple of washes have now been added mostly to gauge how much weathering I will need to pick out the details. I think a slightly darker pin wash will be needed to enhance the door recesses but that will be it. A light dust filter will probably be next to blend everything together and give it a very slight used look.
