Ian, many thanks fella . Steve, much obliged sir . Pete, appreciated ole chap . I must say that till now the VMS masking fluid has been a bit of a pain, but this time it worked a treat . Realizing that I had forgotten to add the yellow leading edges to the Zeros wings , I did some tricky masking and sprayed them on . Next time these will defo go on first and masked off before the rest of the paint job .

I painted the yellow leading edge on the tiffy after the camo but before the decal invasion stripes, I find it easier to mask the outer after rather than cover up the yellow if that makes any sense at all

Looks great, Paul. Glad there were no masking mishaps with the add-on. Once again, that is a fantastic scheme.
Regards,
Ian

Steve, Ian, cheers muckers . As for the masking thing, well I dunno really. I suppose this could be the easier way as you don't have to worry about any screw ups along the way. It's just a a tad annoying when you forget these things from the start . I didn't risk using anything else but Tamiya tape for this , I have masked with other tape before on other builds and then lost some paint with it.

Hi chaps, today I finished the Zero off . The final bits I did were these: Painted the AM MG's Painted the prop Added the antenna and wire (wire is from Mig and should be used rigging in 1/700 Painted and added the air-to-air missiles (not sure if the colours are correct, couldn't find any ref on these) Added the landing gear Added a little weathering in form of smoke stains only. These were sprayed onto the gun ports and along the sides of the fuselage behind the exhausts I hope you all likes the end result . Also, I must again thank Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for their support in answering the cockpit colour question . As always ACACW.
