I’ve done a bit more in trying to create more contrast but still have to some work on getting the raised details to pop out for what I’m trying to achieve. Now I’ve got to work out what sort of ‘mouth’ I want to paint. I’m still in two minds as to whether to add any chipping but I’m leaning towards no as that will be more in keeping with the toon look.  |

So some more progress. I wanted to ratchet up the contrast first to give it a less realistic look in keeping with its toon status. I then started painting some of the details and trying to give the impression of a nose by painting the barrel a dark grey. Almost at the finishing line now and it’s been fun having had much more of a free hand on what you can do.  |

Well pretty much done now. A very enjoyable build and once I’ve done a few touch ups and take some pictures and chuck them in the finished gallery.   |
