I jumped back on the Toon Panther and worked on the Ambush Scheme. It was fun and I just used a small brush to add the dots. I still have a few more patches to work on, as well as the turret. I also got the wheels painted and used Vallejo Dark Rubber (the best thing since microwaveable pizza) for those. I should get the camp wrapped up this week. Regards, Ian    |

I got the Ambush Camo finished up on the Panther and everything went on fine. I also painted the exhausts with a base coat of Vallejo Dark Rust. I got the wheels installed, however I noticed there was a lot of play in the fit and they are very wobbly on the axles, even though the pins are nailed all the way in. This was kind of surprising since most of the other kit parts basically snapped in with great fit. Not a big deal as I will just glue them into position at some once the tracks are on.
