Thanks Duke! I started the weathering phase on the Panther. I gave the tank it's "filter bath" of highly diluted Burnt Umber/Black/Ivory White with mineral spirits to blend and tone down the camo. I then added the pin wash to the various highlights using Burnt Umber with just a few drops of mineral spirits. Chipping and various scratches will be next. Best wishes, Ian

I did some more weathering work on the Toon Panther and I am getting close to the finish line. I added some scratches using Vallejo Chocolate mixed with Vallejo Smoke. I also did some sponge chipping using Vallejo Chocolate mixed with Vallejo Dark Rubber and Light Rust. I added a flat coat consisting of Vallejo Matt Varnish mixed with a couple of drops of Vallejo Iraqi Sand. The pigments were added next and I used MIG Dark Earth for the lower parts of the hull and MIG Industrial Dust for the upper surfaces. Just a few more details to complete and she will be finished. Regards, Ian

The Toon Panther is complete and I will upload the rest of the photos in the GB Gallery. I added some more MIG Dark Earth Pigments to the running gear and some more MIG Industrial Earth to the upper surfaces. Tamiya Soot Pigment was also added to the two exhaust cans. I then finished off the weathering by adding worn metal areas to the turret and hull, with graphite pencils and silver pencils. Worn metal areas were also added to the tracks with silver pencils as well. I then gave it one last mist coat of Vallejo Flat Varnish mixed with some Vallejo Iraqi Sand to wrap it up. This was a very fun build and also my first build of a parody kit. However, it was also a great test run for a German Ambush camo application for a 1/35th project later down the road. Best wishes, Ian
