Hi fellas after looking at my empty bench for about 5 minutes , I decided it was time for another of my favorite Axis tanks . Enter the Flammpanzer 38t Hetzer . I'm using the Academy 38t Jadgpanzer Late with DEF model Flammpanzer coversion set . And we're off , got the lower hull together already and will get the tracks on next . The upper hull is only dropped in place at the mo. The tracks are link and length and look quite good, will see if they fit soon . More soon chappies .

Watcha Jeff , I must say this Academy kit is a bit of a shake and bake till now . Could easily be mistaken for a Tammy kit

Pete, welcome mushty . Vlad, nice of you join in . Ian, wouldn't be right without you sir . Todays doings isn't much , but it is huge step towards finishing the build . Link and length tracks . The reports about the tracks being too long are correct , but if you leave just one link off the fit perfickly . I can't understand these bloody in-box-review poohsticks , they should be locked up

Those tracks look great, PB. Well glued, Buddy. I've not had good luck with L&L tracks. Never seem to come out right.

Boots, appreciated dude John, she certainly is a straight forward clean build John . I recommend this kit to any of you who like Hetzers . Guy, welcome on board sir, and thanks also Jeff, cheers mucker . This is the first time I have used L+L tracks, and they ain't bad if I may say so . This kit was has been in the stash for about 5 years now, and it didn't get built because of some stupid review I read about the tracks being to long . This is the case but all you have to do if leave one freakin link out . Pete, many thanks mushty . Got quite a bit done today, the build is finished and she's down in the cellar (basement) drying off after just being primed . Here's some pics of the end of the build stage . The white smears on the hull are Revell putty, this was spread on and sanded back to give some texture to the rolled armoured plate of this beauty . The white additions I added as these appear, to me at least, to be better than the kit parts . ACW muckers
