The first stage........was lighter than this in places but the clear coat put paid to that!! , will go back over this with the lighter colour lightened even more to compensate for the gloss coat..........my bad!!!, wasn`t thinkin` due to this frikkin` man lurgy
Also a little bit of silvering on a couple of decs despite the gloss first.........this should sort itself out during the remaining processes of weathering
Unfortunately there will be NO load at the mo................i bought a Stummel half track just to put somat different on the back rather than another Sherman tank that you mostly see...........the feckin` thing is miles to small and sits in the trailer rather than on it!!!!!, that was money down the ferkin` drain , i`ll maybe add somat another time.
Some Xmas fettling with washes/powders etc, being as i had to attach all the wheels to get this to sit level meant painting the tyres in situ........that was ferkin` fun i tell `ee .......`specially the trailer .........and there`s lots of `em , also coloured in the gun and levers and the spare wheel on the trailer.........gonna make up my own tarp to drape over that soft looking one on the trailer, i`ve also lightened and dry brushed this to make it lighter on the top areas compared to the previous pics,i`m hoping to get this done ready to start another build for Jan 1st EGB
I`ll add a load for this another time
Started some work on the trailer but got a little way to go yet
To save a bit of money AND do something different, how about having yer 'load' tarped over? Either bulk up yer HT or just make a tank-shaped load and then tarp it....tie-downs and a canvas colour variation and yer've got a cheap and alternative lookin' DW!
