Thank you, Steve! Well, I got the mains on and it actually sits level on all eight wheels. I was kind of wondering how this thing would level up on the dually wheel trucks. I have started on the outrigger wheels next so it will be interesting to see what king of lengthening or shortening will be needed on those. Just a few spots to touch up on the finish and it will be close to decal time. Best wishes, Ian

Thanks Robbo! I got the last of the assembly work done on the BUFF. I figured the out-riggers would be the main construction hang-up and I was right as the struts were about 4-5mm too short. I added styrene tubing spacers to lengthen the struts and it took a little bit of adjusting to get everything sitting level but it finally came together. I then added the gear bay doors and this wraps up the build portion of the project, as all the assemblies are now attached. Next will be some Gloss Varnish and the decals! Regards, Ian

Thanks Boots and yes, the outriggers were a little difficult to deal with. I wasn't completely happy with Minircraft's rendering of either end of the engines so I have made intake and exhaust covers for both. The intake covers were fashioned from sheet-stock and the exhaust covers are Dragon photo-etch 88mm shell casing caps, which fit like a charm. I will get these installed and it will be time for the gloss coat for decals. Regards, Ian

I got the intake covers installed on the engines and they fit like they were supposed to. I then got the Vallejo Gloss Varnish on this afternoon so it will be time for decals in the next few days. Regards, Ian
