Steve, thank you fella . Still a tad to do yet though . Pete, much appreciated ole chap . Ian, thank thee kindly sir . Boots, I appreciate that mucker , means a lot coming from the pigmeister Well I'm still cracking on here, today was more dirt in the form of a Tamiya buff-earth mix, then a matt coat from VMS. I also added a ghastly greenish colour made from Vallejo light sea blue and dunkelgelb to the exhaust covers. This being a new tank I didn't want the heavy rusted exhaust it would later get, but I did want a discoloring to the bronze green. After all these exhausts get bloody hot and very fast at that too . I also made the tie downs for the turret bins, these are made bent copper wire and washy tape, they still need blending in but that shouldn't be a prob . Buckles for the tie downs Todays treatment . I forgot to mention that I added a light dry brushing to certain areas, but mostly on the mantlet cover . I might get a bit more done this evening, we'll see. If not the completion will be next Sunday

Boots, Ian, cheers chaps . The buckles aren't too difficult to make, all you need is PE bending tool and use the smallest bending form on there to keep making the same width of bends . Thanks for the directional tip Youtube, but pliers are rubbish

Boots I have the Trumpeter Master Tools small version. I used the 1mm tooth, and just kept bending at 90° angles to that. Here's one I just made as a "how to do it" for yaz Use annealed copper wire, this is 0.4mm, place wire under the 1mm tooth and bend upwards, keep doing this until the first loop is complete. Then do the same for the second loop. After that, trim the end off. The buckle will be a bit wonky, but that doesn't matter. Just put it under the longer bending tooth and tighten the clamp, after that it will in shape.

Boots, Pete, Guy, thank you all kindly fellas . Getting close to the finishing line now . I have added some bronze green back to certain areas, like the well used parts around the turret and hull. And also some very light staining on the lower bazooka plates. I am not going to go mad with weathering as I want to show a newish vehicle ACACW chaps

Beautiful, Paul. The weathering is just perfect for how you are wanting to depict the vehicle.

Muchas grassyass chaps . I am now calling her done , I added the antenna and finished off the the jerry can with a wash a quick graphite application . That'll be all for this in-between vehicle. I have been wanting to build this for many years now, and when the Amusing Hobby Conq MkI turned up I decided it was time. Even if it does mean using the old Tamiya Mk III Cent turret, you can still get a half decent looking Caernarvon from both kits . Thanks for watching my friends, as always ACACW.
