With the IPMS Belgium show fast approaching it's time for me to delve back into the world of Belgian armour. This year I'm building a leopard 1 batch 3 using the revell kit, some leopard club goodies & fruil tracks. So far I've built up the hull and dry fitted the replacement exhaust grills. These are much better than the rather flat kit items. Also this is the only but of hacking I need to do as the rest of the leopard club bits are just straight replacements or new parts to add missing details.

Cheers chaps, progress and it's going rather well with the suspension & wheels made up. Detail work has also started on the hull and the dreaded revell sink marks have made their presence felt already. The turret has a hideous texture more suited to Russian armour than German so mr surfacer will be used to smooth it out. next stop the tracks!

It's apparently a new tooling by revell with nothing from the old italeri kits.

Well I was going to build the tracks but I've decided to get on with the building of the hull & turret first. The new exhaust grills are in place and have been blended in with mr surfacer & weld lines added using mr dissolved putty and tape. The stowage bins need a fair bit of clean up and are missing some details which i'm adding with plastic card. All going well so far.
