Right colour is now on the hull and further fading has been added on that and the turret. I think that will do so it's on to detail painting next. I am however struggling to find a suitable commander figure, a recurring theme for me when building Belgian vehicles but hopefully I'll cobble something together!

Cheers chaps, I've done some detail painting now followed by a blast of future for a gloss coat and cracked on with the decals. here I used Daco's excellent Belgian vehicles set. As you can see the tank is now quite colourful and as luck would have it the unit shield on the turret was actually on the daco decal sheet. The only thing I have to paint myself is the cobra emblem on the turret which was the tanks call sign. I've had a test go at painting it free hand and think I can pull it off.

Well here's my attempts at painting the cobra, the commanders side was the tricky one and they are not exactly the same but after quite a few attempts I'm happy they are close enough. And besides that one won't be too visible once on the base.
