Not only is it an interesting subject but we get to lean all the nautical terms too , nice one

If I had any sense in the first place I wouldn't have used the sails but I'm too far along the road now. Besides I think I've got a reasonable fix in place (at the moment). Nautical terminology is a necessity. Every time I look something up it's explained in nautical terminology which means a visit to a nautical dictionary. It would be easier learning Italian. After yet another shambles I'll be getting demoted from 'Sprue Cutter'. Anyway, no more posts until she's finished, this constant reporting of failure is getting depressing

You will get it done! Afterall, you got the zig-zag masts straightened up nicely. Plus, when you struggle with one you always get a sense of accomplishment after you flog the kit into submission. Looking forward to seeing this one on the shelf.
Best wishes,
Ian

Now complete. She was a lot less trouble overall than I was expecting though is very fragile due to the brittle plastic. Even the rigging was repetitious rather than difficult.
