Sticking with the cold war theme and as a bit of light relief I've decided it's high time a marder joined the collection. I've got the old but basically sound tamiya kit plus some eduard etch and a gun barrel. As you can see a starts been made removing the very thick kit scope covers which will be replaced with better etched ones.

How does this stand up to time Pete? Not too bad I think Paul. Some details are overly thick and basic but then the date stamp on the hull parts is 1977! Nothing here that can't be improved on using etch or basic modelling skills.

Lovely job as ever. I've said it before, but you make it all look so bloddy effortless.

Beautiful work on this!!! Your build brings back a lot of memories as the original Tamiya Leopard and Marder kits (among many others) are what got me into model building as a teenager in the 80's.
Best wishes,
Ian
