So I am about ready to start the paint phase on the hypothetical Wehrmacht '46 Tiger II that is in the other thread. I have four camo options in mind and but have decided to let you guys decide which one I should use. For the actual colors I am going to use the late war German Dark Green and the paler shade of Dark Yellow they went with towards the end of the war. Although I am not an artist by any stretch of the imagination, I made some sketches of the four versions to try to get an idea of how they would look on the tank. The choice is yours....... Best wishes, Ian

I’ve gone for option 3 as the hull will have the mesh panels covering it but they’re all good

LMFAO.............sorry mucker To be honest either of the bottom two for exactly what Steve has said............the 3 panels will cover the pattern more on the lower hull (plus lower heavy weathering) but on the turret it will show more behind the single mesh panel and be more eye-catching, just my dimes worth fella

I'd go with plaid. Or, since it is '46 Tiger 2...I do like the idea of mixing paint components...like they cannibalized other Tiger 2s to get serviceable ones. Like the side skirting can be mixed colors, including red-oxide. Say the chassis is a late '45 production vehicle. So it would have old conventional camo. The turret was replaced, hence overall sand, green, grey, red-oxide...or a combo.
So A or B...but I voted A.
